bus Line 78, route Airport - KTEL Station, goes directly to the city centre. It takes 60 minutes. Thessaloniki has regular city bus services. Tickets can be purchased from the Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization (OASTH) desks 07.00 – 21.00, or from automatic vending machines on board buses. A
taxi to the city centre takes 30 minutes.

You can travel to Thessaloniki from anywhere in the world via Athens. The distance from Athens is about 500 kilometres and there are several flights a day (air time from Athens to Thessaloniki is about an hour).

railway station to the west of the city. You can take a bus or a taxi from the station to reach the city centre, your hotel or the HELEXPO complex (taxi fare is approx. 4 , from the train station to the HELEXPO complex).
